PIPE LINING

Reliable Pipe Lining Service by Certified Plumbers in Southeastern, Michigan

Traditional pipe repair often involves extensive excavation to access and replace damaged sections. This can be disruptive, time-consuming, and costly. At Ready Jetter Plumbing, we embrace innovative solutions with our trenchless pipe-lining services. This advanced technique repairs damaged pipes from within. This means no need for extensive digging.

Pipe lining involves creating a new, seamless pipe within the existing one using a specialized epoxy resin or cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining. This new lining effectively seals cracks, resulting in a fully renovated pipe system with increased flow capacity.

Our pipe lining techniques involve using high-quality lining materials to ensure fool-proof repair. To ensure full compliance with the national plumbing code, our team does everything by the book. We also offer detailed estimates before starting the process to help you plan your budget fully informed.

Our Pipe Lining Process Overview:

Pipe lining is an efficient way to repair cracked and corroded underground pipes. Let's quickly go over the technical aspects of the process:

Inspection and Assessment

The first step involves a thorough inspection of your damaged pipes. We use video camera technology to pinpoint the location and extent of the damage. This assessment also helps determine the appropriate diameter and type of lining material for your specific needs.

Pipe Cleaning and Preparation

Before lining the pipes, our team thoroughly cleans the interior surfaces with either high-pressure jet or mechanical cleaning tools. A clean and prepped pipe surface results in optimal adhesion of the lining material.

Liner Deployment

There are two main lining methods we employ:

Epoxy Resin Lining

A liquid epoxy resin is mixed and then saturated into a specially woven fiberglass sleeve. The saturated sleeve is then inverted onto a deployment reel and fed into the damaged pipe section through an access point. Air pressure pushes the liner into place, expanding it against the pipe walls.

Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP)

A pre-impregnated fiberglass liner saturated with uncured epoxy resin is rolled onto a mandrel. The mandrel is then inserted into the damaged pipe section. Next, we circulate hot water or steam through the mandrel which cures the epoxy resin and creates a new pipe lining within the old one.

Liner Curing

Depending on the chosen lining method, we may have to cure the epoxy resin using heat, ultraviolet light, or a combination of both. This curing process hardens the resin, creating a strong and structurally sound pipe lining within the existing pipe.

Liner Inspection and System Verification: Once the curing process is complete, our technicians perform a final inspection using video camera technology. We want to make sure the liner is properly cured, adheres seamlessly to the pipe walls, and has no leaks or defects.
