Hydro Jetting:
Q: What is hydro jetting?
A: Hydro jetting is a high-pressure water cleaning method used to clear clogs, blockages, and buildup in pipes and drains. It involves using a specialized nozzle that sprays water at high pressures to remove debris and restore proper flow.
Q: When is hydro jetting recommended?
A: Hydro jetting is recommended for stubborn clogs, grease buildup, tree root intrusion, and other severe blockages in drains and sewer lines. It is an effective solution for both residential and commercial properties.
Q: How does hydro jetting work?
A: Hydro jetting works by using a high-pressure water stream to break apart and flush out obstructions in pipes. The water pressure is adjustable and can be tailored to the specific needs of the plumbing system.
Q: Can hydro jetting damage pipes?
A: When performed by experienced professionals, hydro jetting is unlikely to damage pipes. The water pressure is controlled and monitored to ensure it doesn’t exceed the pipe’s capacity. Skilled technicians understand the appropriate pressure levels for different types of pipes.
Q: Is hydro jetting environmentally friendly?
A: Yes, hydro jetting is considered environmentally friendly because it uses only water without the need for harsh chemicals. It is a safe and non-toxic method of clearing blockages in plumbing systems.
Q: How long does hydro jetting take?
A: The duration of hydro jetting depends on the severity of the clog and the length of the pipe being treated. In most cases, hydro jetting can be completed within a few hours, but it may take longer for more complex issues.
Q: Will hydro jetting completely remove all blockages?
A: Hydro jetting is highly effective at removing most types of blockages, including debris, grease, and roots. However, there may be instances where additional steps or treatments are necessary, depending on the specific situation.
Q: Do I need to prepare my plumbing system before hydro jetting?
A: In most cases, there is no specific preparation required from the homeowner. However, it’s advisable to clear the area around access points to ensure easy access for the hydro jetting equipment.
Q: How often should I schedule hydro jetting?
A: The frequency of hydro jetting depends on various factors, such as the age of your plumbing system, usage patterns, and potential issues. It’s best to consult with a professional plumbing service to determine an appropriate maintenance schedule based on your specific needs.
Remember, it’s always recommended to consult with a professional hydro jetting service to assess your plumbing system and receive tailored advice for your specific situation.

Like many that are reading this, I “had” an issue with my basement main cleanout and drainpipe being rotted (cast iron) causing clogs. I had a few other plumbers (popular/well rated) tell me that they would have to dig out all my drainpipe and install new – in my finished basement – which is a costly project I have been dreading for years. Looking for alternatives I found Ready Jetter and based on their stellar reviews I decided to reach out. Kevin (owner) was super kind and professional and told me there were other options to the full dig-and-replace everyone else was selling and that he would come take a look. After a quick assessment he determined he’d only need to dig out the rotted cleanout section (less than 2’x2’ area) and that the drainpipe (40’) was repairable by relining with no digging! His estimate was very fair, so I booked him on the spot. A few days later he did exactly what he said he would do and within a day’s work had everything replaced, relined, and like new again with a video to prove it. If you have any kind of plumbing need, or you think you’re going to need to dig, please give Kevin a call. He will give you honest and reasonable solutions for any plumbing issue you face. read lessNathan Eggers11/24/2022

They provide an affordably service, they are trustworthy and they explain exactly what it is that they have to fix or install and why. On top of that they also go the extra mile! For example, we had a problem with one of our toilets. They came and looked at it, told us it was a part that had just worn out, however was still under warranty and replaced it. We then told them that we also had a problem with a leaky faucet. They looked at it and said they can fix it for us and charge us for the repair or tell us how to fix it our self. We chose to do it our self, so they then explained what we need to do to fix it. When they were done we asked what we owed them and they said since the part was under warranty and they didn't need to fix the faucet that there was nothing to pay! They could have easily fixed the faucet and charged us for it as well as the toilet. However the fact that they didn't shows that they have integrity and they care about their customers. We are satisfied with the service that they provide and won't go to anyone else. read lessGregory Ochs11/19/2022
